SAFE SPORT IN PRACTICE
EAGLE Sports Integrity Services co-organised the event “Safe Sport in Practice”, hosted in the Amphitheatre of the Hellenic Olympic Committee.
The event was co-organised by the Commission for Sporting Spirit, Ethics and Conduct of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, the International Olympic Academy and EAGLE Sports Integrity Services.
The initiative brought together representatives of the sporting, academic and scientific communities with a shared goal: creating sporting environments where the safety, dignity and wellbeing of athletes are at the centre.
Around 200 participants, representing 25 Olympic Sports Federations, took part in the event, creating an important national platform for education and institutional dialogue on Safe Sport.
EAGLE in Practice
Panagiotis Panoutsos Talkowski presented practical tools for applying Safe Sport principles and embedding safeguarding in real sporting environments.
EAGLE's approach connected: PREVENTION → EDUCATION → POLICIES → REPORTING → RESPONSE → CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT.
Rather than treating Safe Sport as a stand-alone compliance policy, EAGLE presented it as an integrated organisational system connecting people, processes, education, technology and accountability.
